Nature for Health is delivered across Denbighshire, with team members working in communities from the coastal towns of Rhyl and Prestatyn in the north, to Llangollen and Corwen in the south of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape. Our team leads a wide variety of nature-based sessions that support health and wellbeing through conservation, creativity, and connection with the outdoors!

Let’s meet the people behind the programme!

Charlotte – Loggerheads a Rhuthin

Charlotte delivers sessions in the heart of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape, encouraging people to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of nature in the beautiful surroundings of Loggerheads and Ruthin.

Becky – Corwen a Llangollen

Becky supports communities in the southern part of the National Landscape, offering inclusive nature-based activities and chair-based exercise sessions that promote physical and mental wellbeing. Her sessions help participants build confidence to enjoy the outdoors.

Chloë – Corwen a Llangollen

Chloë works alongside Becky in the southern area of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley, delivering engaging sessions that combine conservation, creativity, and movement to support health and wellbeing in local green spaces, such as the gardens in Corwen and Plas Newydd.

Lisette – Plas Newydd, Llangollen

Based at the historic Plas Newydd in Llangollen, Lisette leads activities that blend heritage, nature, and wellbeing. Her sessions offer a peaceful and inspiring environment, just minutes away from the centre of Llangollen.

Vitor – Rhyl a Rhuddlan

Vitor leads outdoor sessions in Rhyl and Rhuddlan, focusing on conservation, physical activity, and nature engagement. His approachable style helps participants feel confident and connected while enjoying the benefits of green spaces.

Sasha – Rhyl a Phrestatyn

Sasha delivers a vibrant mix of outdoor conservation and creative activities in the north of Denbighshire. Her sessions combine practical tasks with artistic expression, offering a welcoming space for people to explore nature and wellbeing in their own way.

Katrina – Rhyl a Phrestatyn

Katrina offers a diverse range of wellbeing-focused sessions including chair-based exercise, Nordic walking, gentle wellbeing walks, and creative engagement activities. Her inclusive approach supports people of all abilities to stay active and connected with nature.

Jonny – Rhyl a Rhuthin

Jonny leads practical conservation sessions in and around Denbigh and Ruthin, helping participants engage through hands-on activities that support both personal wellbeing and the health of the environment.

Matt – Llanelwy a Ddinbych

Matt delivers outdoor conservation-focused sessions in St Asaph and Denbigh, encouraging people to connect with nature through practical tasks that promote physical activity, environmental awareness, and community engagement.
